The UTCVM Veterinary Business Management Association is dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing business knowledge, creating networking opportunities, and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals.  We share the belief of many other veterinary professionals — in order to provide the best care for animals, we need to increase our knowledge about subjects outside of the medical realm. The goals of the VBMA are to increase student and veterinarian interest and awareness regarding their financial affairs, entry into the job market, personal management skills, and opportunities that are available to persons with a veterinary medical degree, involve students and veterinarians in discussions with knowledgeable veterinary practice management consultants and advisors, as well as provide a forum for learning life skills and the principles of successful business management.
